| NEWS/HIGHLIGHTS FROM LTN MARGETTA CRASHES AT ROAD AMERICA Dan Margetta just got his Mustang back from the chassis dyno, finding a 175 HP gain and plain couldn't handle the ponies. As his 3rd lap was just about to start at Road America, he shouted over the radio "I'm droppin' the hammer", to which his spotter John replied "Remember Bouche rides every mile with you" and proceeded at near Bill Prietzel speeds of 177 MPH. The crowd which included Brett Bodine shouted "Golly gosh gee wilikers" as the Blue Mustang GT came thru the Canada corner heading towards 14, only the 2 footed driver missed the downshift and rammed into the tire wall. No injuries were reported and Margetta was expected back to work Thursday.
